1) Mumbai based used bike marketplace CredR is in advance talk to raise $15 million in its Series A round of funding from Fidelity Growth Partners. CredR was founded by IIT Bombay graduates named Sumit Chhazed with batch mates Nikhil Jain, Nitin Mittal and Stanford alumni Shiv Agrawal in February 2015.

2) Hyderabad based ManageMySpa, a mobile and cloudbased business management software provider for beauty and wellness industry has raised $6 million in its Series Around of funding led by Accel Partners. The fresh funding will be deployed to accelerate the sales and marketing efforts. The company is also planning to expand its mobile product offering.

3) Bangalore based B2B logistics delivery platform Townrush has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners. The fund will be utilized into the company’s physical infrastructure, technological development, and scaling up its core team.

4) Locus, a Bangalore based logistics management startup has raised angel funding from a round led by investment firm GrowX Ventures and angel investor Manish Singhal. The funds will be used in expanding the core team.

5) Online hiring platform Bevy, based out in Bangalore has grabbed an undisclosed amount from a couple of angel investors including Varun Agarwal, Founder of Alma Mater and other angels. The company will utilize the raised fundin hiring experts in the fields of HR, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Development.

6) Online furniture marketplace Pepperfry, has raised $100 million in Series D round of funding led by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Zodius Technology Fund with other existing investors. The funds will be used to open more distribution centres to expand the company’s reach in small cities and towns and strengthen its logistics network, which comprises a fleet of more than 300 vehicles at present.

7) Bangalore based e-commerce giant Flipkart has raised $700 million in its 10th round of funding led by Tiger Global and existing investors including Steadview Capital. With the latest round of funding, Flipkart’s valuation has reached to $15 billion in Indian e-commerce industry.

8) Opinio, an on-demand food and grocery startup based out in Bangalore has raised $1.3 million from Accel Partners and Traxcn labs and others. The company will use the funds to expand into more cities and strengthen its technology infrastructure.

9) Mumbai based health-tech platform Zoctr has raised $1 million in angel round from SPA Capital Group founder Sandeep Parwal, Organic Wellness’ founder Krishan Gupta and other angel investors. The company has plans to use the funds to expand its services into Delhi-NCR and in partnering with hospitals and ICUs across Delhi and Mumbai. It will also use the money to enhance hiring and training activities.

10) Mumbai based on-demand home services marketplace Zimmber has raised $2 million in pre-series Around of funding led by IDG ventures and Omdiyar Networks, Sherpalo Ventures and Mohandas Pai.The funds received will be used to add more categories, develop our technology and expand to other tier I, II and III cities.

11) TrueHB,a New Delhi based medical technology startup founded by an IIT Delhi graduate, has raised $2.4 million in funding from Flipkart co-founders, Sachin and Binny Bansal, former Ranbaxy and Fortis promoters Malvinder and Shivinder Singh, and others. The company will use the funding to commercialize and further develop the product.

12) Paytm backed Zovi announced the fund raising of $50 million for their consumer lifestyle deals marketplace app, called Little app. The funding round was led by Paytm, SAIF Partners, and Tiger Global, and many more new undisclosed investors. The funding will be deployed in building the largest merchant ecosystem, building new technology and in hiring senior talent.

13) Gurgaon based smart water purification Solutions startup Swajal has raised $1.2 million in its Series A round of funding led by Abhishek Gupta. The fresh funds will be used to scale up the operation of company in India and foray into other emerging markets by next year. It will also be used to engineer and enhance its community based water purification systems.

14) Mumbai based fashion jewellery brand Pipa Bella has raised initial funding of $650K from a group of investors led by Singapore-based Lion-Rock Capital, GSF India founder Rajesh Sawhney, Beenos Founder Teruhide Sato and Roopa Nath of Mumbai Angels. The company will utilize the fundsin mobile and technology platform customization and in building a strong loyalty programme for the customers to build the brand.

15) Delhi based online automobile marketplace, Droom has raised $16 million in Series Around of funding led by Lightbox. With this new investment, Droom will be expanding operations by adding 20 automobile and 12 service categories hosting over 50,000 sellers and 200k listings in the next 18-24 months. It also has plans to expand into Southeast Asia by early 2016.

16) Bengaluru based Madrat Games, has raised about $168K from Snapdeal’s founders Rohit Bansal and Kunal Bahl, along with participations from Rajul Garg, Sanjay Singh, ManojAgarwala and TarunUpadhyay, Vikas Choudhury, Sandeep Bordia and Globevestor.The co mpany has plans to utilize the proceeds towards expansion of its business, branding and marketing of products.

17) Mumbai based Chinese food delivery startup Noodle Play, has raised $168K from its own delivery led customers which includes Elliot Stechman (MD, EK Wireless), Gautam Sinha (Co-founder, myfirstcheque) and Ambarish Ray (Director, Metal Communication).The proceeds will be used to strengthen backend process and expand across Mumbai.Founded by Hitesh Bhatia, Noodle Play provides online ordering and delivery of Chinese food across Mumbai. Currently it delivers to over 5 locations in Mumbai and is planning to expand delivery outposts in over 50 Mumbai locations.

18) On-demand laundry& dry-cleaning platform Wassup has raised an undisclosed amount from the founder of TRRAIN and the non-ex vice Chairman of Shoppers Stop, B S Nagesh and he will join the startup as an advisor and mentor to the founders. Prior to this, it had raised $2 million in May this year in a funding round led by Jabong’s Co-founders Arun Chandramohan and Praveen Sinha. Currently, the company has 30 pickup points and the company has plans to add 30 more Hubs during the course of next 6 months. The brand vision is to be in 100 cities with a customer base of 1 million in the next 3 years.

19) Bangalore based automotive services marketplace Cartisan has raised its first external round of funding of an undisclosed amount from a clutch of early-stage investors, including, cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s YouWeCan Ventures and Taxiforsure co-founder Aprameya Radhakrishna. The funding will be used by the company to expand into newer territories, including the National Capital Region and Mumbai by the end of the current fiscal year.

20) Bengaluru based travel tech startup Trip Factory has raised $10 million in Series A round of funding from Aarin Capital Partners.The funds will be used to enhance the technology team so as to build an infrastructure that can effortlessly connect travel advisors and agents with travelers. It also plans to foray into international markets and increasing the team count by 10 times.

21) Bangalore based home decor and design startup Livspace has received an undisclosed amount from Gokul Rajaram, Product Engineering Lead at leading payments and small business solutions company, Square. The two year old startup has its catalogues designed by in-house designers as well by curated ones. It has also designed modularized furniture, which can use 100 skews to produce 5,000 products.

22) Bangalore based seed stage VC fund Angel Prime has raised $47 million in new round of funding led by the Social and Capital Partnership along with several undisclosed institutional investors from New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Silicon Valley, and across Europe.

23) LazyLad, a Gurgaon based hyper-local mobile commerce company has raised $500K in its second round of funding from three overseas investors. The investors include Singaporebased M&Y Partners , Tekton Venture’s founder and managing partner Jai Choi and Japan-based Sugashita Partner’sKiyohiroSugashita. The company will utilize the money to expand to major cities in India over the next 10-12 months. On the other side, they have also plans to use it to develop and enhance back-end technology to continue as an asset light and scalable model.

24) Bona Vita Technologies Pvt Ltd, a travel industry startup founded by former Snapdeal chief technology officer Amitabh Misra has received $5 million from online travel agency MakeMyTrip. The startup will use the funds in product enhancement.
