Now, Bing Ads will help advertisers set effective bidding strategies through remarketing bid adjustment suggestions in the Opportunity tab.
The remarketing bid adjustment opportunity will use historical ad performance data and provide advertisers with created suggestions on how to adjust their bids to show ads to their most relevant target audiences.
- To the degree your remarketing lists show lower cost per acquisitions than the campaign average, we’ll suggest a positive bid adjustment, along with the estimated conversion increase.
- To the degree your remarketing lists show higher cost per acquisitions than the campaign average, we’ll suggest a negative bid adjustment, along with the estimated spend savings.
How to get started?
To take advantage of this new opportunity, advertisers can log into Bing Ads and go to the Opportunity tab.
From there, they can review suggestions for their campaigns and ad groups. Then, can choose which suggestions, if any, they would like to apply.
Advertisers can refer to the images below to see where to find their suggestions in Bing Ads and the potential conversion impact.
It also said advertisers may not see suggestions yet, but they need not to worry, there may be a little more performance data needed so that the bid adjustments can be properly tailored for their campaigns and ad groups. Keep checking back, as it refreshes these suggestions every day based on advertiser’s most recent campaign performance.
Having conversion tracking enabled is a requirement for being able to view suggestions in the Opportunity tab.
Audience lists are a requirement for getting suggestions related to audience targeting.
