Google’s latest edition to the new AdWords experience is integration with Optimize, the company’s visual editor for landing pages.
Optimize and AdWords integration has been available since last October, but until now has not been available as part of the new AdWords experience.

Google has multiple products to offer to its millions of users.
But what important here is to note that it keeps evaluating all of them effectively and simultaneously.
One of those products is Google My Business listing. This time Google came with the news for people using GMB for their targeted goals. The news is going to affect scammers and robocalls making SEO professionals while managing GMB.
Google will soon be launching a whitelisted third-party directory which manages Google My Business listings and also makes complaint form.Source- DSIM
Google My Business seems to have stopped counting anonymous reviews affecting a business’s overall rating.
The update has been reported by two individuals on Twitter. They noticed that anonymous reviews were disappearing from clients’ Google My Business pages.Source- DSIM
Google AdWords introduced parallel tracking earlier this year as a way to improve mobile site speed and all accounts will be required to use it as of October 30th.
Parallel tracking improves mobile speed by processing click measurement in the background while a page loads. This results in pages loading several seconds faster.Sorce- ADWORDS
Google has updated the Google Trends tool. It has become an important part of editorial storytelling, giving reporters everywhere an insight into search trends across the world.
Google’s announcement highlighted three areas of improvement:
- New features
- Simpler navigation
- More ways to explore data and news stories
Google is ensuring to make July, 2018 a happening month. Along with the roll out of Speed Update, Google has announced that it will mark all sites as “not secure” which haven’t adopted HTTPS protocol.
As more than 50 percent internet users are Chrome public, this change is significantly going to impact web publishers.Source- DSIM
Google has always entertained its users by offering several useful features for content writing upgrades and this time, it is a new algorithm
The new algorithm generates “coherent” articles by taking yours and competitor’s web pages in the account. The algorithm can resolve a user’s query without sending them to another web page.Source- DSIM
Google will now be sending email notifications to customers when a business responds to their Google My Business reviews.
For businesses, this should be seen as greater incentive to respond to reviews — whether they’re positive or negative.
Previously, a response from a businesses to a GMB review may have gone unnoticed, unless the reviewer deliberately went back to look for one.

Google will be deactivating AdWords accounts with no recent ad spend starting in mid-May.
Previously, the company stated it would begin deactivating accounts back in March. Without revealing why, it’s clear that Google had a change of heart at some point and decided to extend the deactivation deadline by two months.
This will affect users with AdWords accounts who have not spent any money on ads in the past 15 months.Source- SEJ

Google rolled out the latest model of AdWords Editor this week and it comprises numbers of new options like the ability to obtain search phrases reports, robust filtering options, account-level extension and more.
When seeing key phrase lists in the Editor, users can find a new Search Phrases tab. As shown in the image, by clicking on the Search Phrases tab will fetch a window in which advertisers can choose campaigns, ad groups and the metrics they’re looking to download and analyze. Google has introduced new shopping campaigns for AdWords, which utilize automation and machine learning to maximize conversion value.
If an advertiser were to define their conversion value as “revenue,” for example, then AdWords will automatically optimize the shopping campaign to maximize revenue based on budget constraints.
The new shopping campaigns will be automatically optimized to help marketers achieve their specific goal, whether it’s maximizing conversion value or maximizing conversion value at a specific return on ad spend.Source- ADWORDS
Google has introduced a new ad type which is designed to capitalize on the growing trend of people watching YouTube on TVs.
Users spend a combined total of 150 million hours per day watching YouTube on television screens, making it the fastest growing medium.
This is due to smart TVs becoming the new standard, as well as the rise of internet-connected devices such as video game consoles, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, and so on.Source- YouTube
For the first time, Google is letting agencies register accounts on Google My Business.
Agencies registered with GMB will also get access to an all-new dashboard designed to meet the needs of agency partners.
One of the key benefits of the new agency dashboard is the ability to manage an unlimited number of locations. Non-agency accounts are limited to 100 locations.source- Google
Google is now letting anyone register domains ending in .app, a top-level domain (TLD) that has been exclusive to Google since 2015.
The .app TLD was acquired by Google three years ago for $25M, and has since been restricted to “relevant developer communities.” There will no longer be any restrictions on who can register a .app domain.
Users can register .app TLDs starting May 1, 2018 through Google’s early access program. The program allows users to secure their domains, for an additional fee, before .app becomes available to the general public after May 7th.Source- SEJ
Bing Ads is introducing a way for advertisers to target in-market audiences, which are groups of users who are most likely to buy.
This feature was previously made available last year as part of a pilot program; Bing Ads is now making it available to all advertisers.
Google AdWords introduced in-market audience targeting to its search campaigns in May of last year. So those who have used in-market audience targeting with AdWords before can now apply the same concepts to Bing Ads campaigns.Source- DSIM
To help protect its users from this risk, Bing Ads made the decision to disallow advertising for cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency related products, and un-regulated binary options. Bing Ads will implement this change to its financial product and services policy globally in June, with enforcement rolling out in late June to early July.Source- BING

Till today, Facebook has given numerous features to its users for the sake of their personal and professional uses. This time Facebook has come up with another bang and that is it has started adding ads in Stories.
Facebook Stories have been quite successful within the launch of 14 months span and now the company reveals Stories has a total of 150 million daily viewers.
With earning a huge audience base, Facebook finds it the right time to allow pages to run ads in Stories.
When comparing to Instagram for similar things, it was found that Instagram reached 150 million daily viewers after 5 months launching of Instagram Stories.Source- DSIM
Facebook rolls out three new stories features that are, ‘save photos and videos to the Facebook cloud’, ‘archive Facebook Stories’ and ‘share voice messages with friends’.
For now, the updates are only introduced to users in India, but Facebook says they will soon arrive worldwide.Source- DSIM
Facebook is enhancing live video with several new features — including the ability to crosspost live videos and rewind live videos in progress.
With crossposting of live videos, publishers can stream the same broadcast as an original post across multiple pages.
This functionality is available to all pages worldwide using the web-based publisher tools, and the Live API.
Page admins can configure crossposting relationships between pages by visiting the new ‘Crossposting’ section in the settings menu.Source- SEJ
Facebook will soon roll out improvements to the video retention graph available to pages in video insights.

Facebook has introduced its first-ever Facebook Analytics app for measuring the performance of business pages.
Now available for iOS and Android, the Facebook Analytics app will help businesses conveniently review their key metrics in a mobile interface.
Using the app, businesses can stay on top of growth, engagement, and conversion efforts while on-the-go. Alerts can be set up to receive notifications when notable changes occur.Source- Facebook
YouTube is preparing to roll out a new feature that will make users acutely aware of how much time they’re spending watching video content.
The new “time watched profile,” accessible in the account menu, will display an individual user’s daily watch time, as well as:
- Average watch time per day
- Yesterday’s watch time
- Watch time over the past 7 days
Instagram recently rolled out the ability for users to re-share posts from other accounts in their Instagram Stories.
This feature was spotted in testing earlier this year, and it is now available to everyone.
To re-share someone’s post in the form of a Story, tap on the paper plane icon that appears next to the like and comment icons.
From there, users will have the option to either share the post via DM with people they follow, and directly at the top there will be an option to add the post to their story.Source- SEJ
Instagram is introducing a way for users to hide posts and stories in their feed without actually unfollowing other accounts.
This new feature, called “mute,” will not block content from other users entirely. Content from muted accounts can still be seen by visiting their pages, but it will no longer show up in the main feed.
Of course, this feature can be turned on and off at any time, and the muted accounts will never know they’ve been muted.Source- SEJ
On May 2, 2018 Story Ads got launched — an ad format that allows advertisers to reach their audiences with a branded tile in the Discover feed. With one tap, Snapchatters can jump into a collection of 3-20 Snaps and dive deeper into your new fashion collection, movie release, suite of products, and more. Twitter is ramping up its efforts to filter out negative tweets in searches and conversations.
The algorithms Twitter uses to rank tweets will now take into account negative signals, which include such factors as:
- Tweets sent by accounts with unconfirmed email addresses
- The number of accounts created by the user sending the tweets
- Tweets sent by accounts which repeatedly mention other accounts that aren’t following back
- IP addresses
- Whether a particular tweet prompted users to block the account that sent it
Pinterest is introducing a new take on its promoted video ad unit with new max width video advertisements that expand the entire width of the screen.
The first version of Pinterest’s promoted videos were introduced two years ago, during which time the company says the ad units have proven to be successful at influencing purchase decisions.Source- SEJ
