Google is updating a new look for call-only ads to make it easy for customers to call businesses directly. It will improve the user experience and drive more high-quality leads to your business.
The updated call-only ads layout shows a larger phone icon with business’s phone number at the top and business name and headlines is now sited below the phone number to make call-to-action more noticeable.
Here’s the new layout versus the previous layout example:
“On average, advertisers with the new call-only ads design have seen a 14% increase in phone calls, a 16% increase in call conversions and better cost efficiencies with an 8% decrease in overall paid clicks. The new look helps call-only ads stand out from other text ads, reducing accidental clicks from users who didn’t intend to make a call.”
All old call-only ads will automatically switch over to the new design this week and no further action is needed.
