Shubham Trehan and Akash Shrivastava are the blogger at YouthFunda Blog. Shubham is 19 years and Akash is 20 years old young boys from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. They are pursuing graduation in Civil Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal. Both started blogging in 2015 and now they have a good team of 15 members. This interview will fire you up and encounter to live your dream and be nothing but yourself.

Q1. Hi, Shubham & Akash! You are too young to the corporate world but run a successful blog. So, what is your blog all about?

Ans. Youthfunda.com is dedicated to today’s youth. We publish article according to youth ideology. It is a website where we try to serve pure knowledge to our readers around the world.

Youth Funda is offering Daily Life Tips, Education, Jobs, Lifestyle, Movies, Entertainment and Problems of youth. They will find everything on a single platform. We have 95% of the audience of the age group of 18-34.

Q2. Nice concept. What gave you a kick to start your career as a blogger?

Ans.We have an idea of start our own website. At that time, we were not planning to get into this field. Then we started our educational blog named “PlanetCivil”, dedicated to civil engineering students. We got pretty much good response. So, we decided to move into this blogging field as YouthFunda.

Q3. Wonderful! Have you ever faced any hurdles while entering into the blogosphere? If yes then how you overcome them and became a successful blogger?

Ans. We are facing challenges daily. The main challenges that we faced are availability of good quality content, website traffic, and good income.Our first challenge was how to get good quality content on our blog. For this, we hired some good writers and because we are not earning that time, so we convinced people to start working with us.

We also faced problem in increasing our website traffic. We use the social media platform to increase our reachability & targeting our Indian audience and after good response we also target overseas and we have got a good response from Canada, US, and UK.

Q4. Had you ever thought that a blog will turn you into an entrepreneur?

Ans. Actually, we started this blog as a passion. Even our parents also supported us a lot. They said it was a good career option. They were pretty much sure that we will become a successful entrepreneur.

Q5. All the very best Shubham & Akash. So, what is the revenue model for your blog and how much you are earning with your blog?

Ans. Our revenue model is from sponsored post, direct post and from other ad networks. We are earning pretty much good amount. We are also planning to increase our earning so that we will have good revenue in coming future.

We are trying with affiliate marketing, sponsored posts and PPC model. We are having the pretty much good traffic on our website. If you are having good traffic on your website, you can earn pretty much good amount.

Q6. What is the future of blogging? Do you think it will be one of the most promising career in the coming time?

Ans. It’s going to be the most promising career in the coming time. Due to ‘Digital India’ the reachability of internet is increasing day by day. More people are connected to the internet and its worldwide reach is also increasing. Many other bloggers & writing experts are writing about how to start your website and about SEO. It’s creating awareness. Even, your institute DSIM is doing the same job. I appreciate that.

Q7. As this space i.e. blogosphere is getting competitive day by day, what tips you want to give to the newbie’s blogger?

Ans. Yes! It’s very tough field to deal with but if you have dedication, passion, and patience, you can earn very well in this field. The patience is very important because when you start you’ll not get any penny. It takes time like few months or few weeks. So, Don’t give up, Don’t quit and improve yourself to become successful.

Q8 . Who all are the bloggers you get inspiration from?

Ans. We are following Harsh Agrawal (ShoutMeLoud) from the first day. Usually, we followed some website like ScoopWhoop, MensXP for starting our career.

Q9. Tell us 3 mantras that help you to become a blogger in a very short span of time?

Ans. The 3 mantras Hard work, Dedication &Patience that will make you a successful blogger.

Q10. What is the future of Digital Marketing?

Ans. Digital marketing has great future. More people are moving towards the internet. Digital Marketing is a very vast field to work in. Nowadays, by social media and other platforms, generally, all are connected. It has very vast career option.

Q11. What are the channels you are using most to bring the targeted traffic to you website?

Ans. We are having a multi-niche website. Mostly channels we are using are social media, advertising and organic audience that we are getting from search engines.

Generally, we use social media channels. In Multi-Niche website SEO don’t work very well. If newbies are planning to have a multi-niche website then they should have a good command of social media. They should have SEO + Social Media. Social media is very important if you are targeting good audience..

Q12. Thought for our readers

Ans. If you are willing to pursue your career in the field of blogging or in the internet marketing then you should go for digital marketing training. Be confident towards your actions.
