According to a recent study, the Facebook Like and Share buttons are seen more than 22 billion times a day, embedded on 7.5 million websites. And now both these icons are going to get their first ever redesign.
Facebook Like button will no more have a Thumb sign on it. Instead, you will see a dialogue box above the button that shows how many likes the post or the page has. The new button will have the Facebook”f” logo on it. As far as the share button is concerned, earlier it used to be blue on white however now it will be white on blue. Facebook’s Send button will be replaced by the share button.

According to Peter Yang, a product manager at Facebook, the new version of these buttons is optimized for high-resolution screens, which is why there is a redesign. The change will be seen on those 7.5 million websites in the coming weeks.
