Google has rolled out a new desktop search results design on a wide level that includes colorful icons in the top navigation bar.
Google was seen testing this new design back in March. Currently, it looks that everyone can access the new design.
Earlier, the top navigation menu had just text, so this adds a little more value to the search results pages.
You can check the below examples how the new icons shine with color when they’re chosen.
Current changes to desktop search results are purely superficial, as everything still works the same way.
