Mobiles no more remain a medium just to influence the audience and that they have shifted a lot towards becoming a conversion medium, accounting for almost 39% of display ad conversions during the third quarter this year in a number of countries.
A recent report on it reveals that mobile ad conversions for display increased 4.4% quarter-on-quarter and 15.8% year-over-year. In fact, 40% of impressions and 54 % of ad clicks came from mobile itself.

The Major Highlights of the Report:
• Consumers are increasingly using smartphones and tablets being to complete purchases
• The mobile conversion tendency is consistent across channels, with similar amplifications recorded for search, social and display ads as consumers usually engage and complete transactions across the web from their smartphones and tablets these days
• One out of every three ad conversions on Facebook happened on a mobile device with mobile ad conversions growing 16 % quarter-over-quarter, as recorded during Q3 2014. As a result, 52% of ad impressions and 63% of clicks were generated by mobile on Facebook
• As expected, consumers are likely to engage more brands via mobile ads and complete more purchases on their mobile devices
