During a special address to the nation, PM announced that currency notes INR 500 and INR 1000 denominations will be banned starting 12 midnight on November 8. That is not even four hours after the shocking announcement was made.

The shocking announcement was met with speedy shock across social media and showing delight support from Modi’s followers.
