Twitter unveiled an update to its platform on November 17, 2016. They announced the launch of QR codes for users’ profiles.

These QR codes work the same way as Snapcodes. The blue bird has introduced personalized QR codes which direct people right to your profile.

With the introduction of this feature, it will become easier to find and follow friends at the social network. A different color code will be generated every time you will access it.

The Twitter logo is present at the bottom right and a display picture in the center of the QR code. This function is enabled for all the users of iOS and Android App.

The new update was announced in a tweet by Brittany Forks, Twitter Designer.

How to access Twitter’s QR Codes?

You need to SignIn to your Twitter’s App then go to the ‘Me’ Tab. Tap on the gear or settings icon then choose ‘QR Code‘ and you are off to the races.

You can either take a picture of another user’s QR code with your device’s camera or you can choose a screenshot of QR code from your camera roll. Then you can easily follow the account which will appear with a scanned QR code.

The Snapchat like feature has been rolled out for all the users and will be accessible by everyone.
