With the continuous promotion and offers over the social media platforms, the company now gets more than 50,000 unique visitors each month and on an average 80% of them being women.

Google has introduced a new format for YouTube TrueView video ads called TrueView for action. With this newly added feature, advertisers can display a call-to-action banner at the base of the video during and at the end of the video.

Google announced new updates for accessing AdWords accounts. Users now can use one email address to log in to multiple accounts, quickly switch between accounts, and invite new users.

Facebook has announced that companies can now sell products through their Messenger bots through a newly added buy button that enables the people to buy products from a bot without needing to leave Messenger and a way for brands to direct people from their Facebook ads to their Messenger bots.

The video streaming site has launched the “Community” tab in beta giving access to a select group of high-profile video creators. This feature is already available on some popular channels. YouTube said that creators will be able to post “text, live videos, images, animated GIFs and more” directly to their YouTube following.

FUNDING

The report records down all the Indian startups that got funding this week. Education startup BYJU’s ($50 million) and e-commerce startup LensKart ($30 million) topped the funding round and many more startups raised funding this week.
