Amazon adds 100 new Dash buttons & triples the number of available brands: Amazon has added more than 100 new Dash buttons, tripling the amount of brands available to Amazon Prime members who use the Wi-Fi linked device to get household goods. Dash director Daniel Rausch says Dash button orders have become more than 75 percent during the last three months. “Customers are employing Dash buttons more often than once a complete minute,” says Rausch.

Snapchat is testing ads that contain advertorials like listicles: Snapchat’s advertising business has only been around for about 17 months, and in that time its ad formats have been pretty basic: 10-second vertical videos slotted between posts in its Live and Local Stories or content in publishers’ Discover channels. The article-oriented interactive ads would also offer brands another outlet for the text-based branded content they’re creating.

Instagram Rolls Out 60-Second Video Ads: Instagram has started to roll out 60-second video ads, kicking off with a T-Mobile promotional spot featuring rapper Drake. Until recently, the maximum length for video ads, posted by a brand or advertiser, was 30 seconds, 15 seconds longer than the duration of a video given to users on the network.

India Telecom Stats: 7M New Mobile Subscribers Added in Jan-16, Tele-Density Crosses 80%: This New Year started on a good note as far as new mobile subscriber addition is concerned. According to Jan-2016 telecom report by TRAI, 7.08 million new mobile subscribers were added in January, taking the total mobile subscriber base to 1017.97 million. India is currently the country with fastest mobile subscriber growth – In 2015 India added over 67 million subscribers, whereas in China mobile subscriber growth was closer to 30 million.
