To help marketers make most out of their advertising budget, Google AdWords is introducing Maximize Conversions: a new Smart bidding strategy. The new technology automatically sets the right bid for each auction to help get marketers the most conversions within their daily budget.
The effort has been made to let marketers overcome the challenge of setting the right bid and bid adjustments for getting the maximum conversions.
For example, if you’re a clothing retailer trying to quickly sell last season’s styles, Maximize Conversions will help you get you the most number of sales from your existing budget by factoring signals like remarketing lists, time of day, browser and operating system into bids.

AdWords Smart Bidding is a subset of automated bid strategies that use machine learning to optimize for conversions or conversion value in each and every auction—a feature known as “auction-time bidding”. Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximize Conversions, and Enhanced CPC are all Smart Bidding strategies.
How to use Maximize Conversions?
It’s convenient to set up Maximize Conversions. Simply go to your campaign’s settings page, click “Change bid strategy” and select Maximize Conversions. You can test Maximize Conversions, get insights and monitor your bid strategies to understand their performance.
