Google brings good news for all business owners listed in its GMB listing.

Google My Business or GMB is now offering valued information to business owners for the popularity of their business rated by their customers.

A new addition to the GMB insights section for restaurants and cafes provides information about subjective attributes, based on customer’s opinion.

Customers will be able to add a number of subjective attributes while submitting a Google review.

If a specific attribute is submitted frequently, other customers will also be able to see on the listing.

Now, business owners will be able to see complete insights about the attributes submitted by customers.

These insights will help business to know what customers think of them.

For the listing, subjective attributes can be greatly imperative. As they’re opinion-based so can only be submitted by customers.

On the other side, objective attributes can be added by businesses themselves.

This is why objective attributes are made on undisputed facts and those attributes can be true sometimes or can’t be.

You may recognize objective attributes with following things-
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Has Wi-Fi
  • Offers outdoor seating
You can recognize subjective attributes with following things-
  • Popular for lunch
  • Good for kids
  • Popular with locals
  • Good for groups

Google ensures subjective attributes can be seen always on business listing unless proven false-

“Since customers’ opinions are based on their experience, the information is subjective. It is considered to be valuable to other customers, as it describes the feel & ambiance for a place. Unless proven false, we won’t remove this information.”

Therefore, no verification is required for subjective attributes other than being submitted by actual customers.
