Consumer Internet has attracted the limelight of the investors and in the FY 2015-16, more than 440 startups has raised an amount of more than $4072 million amount which is disclosed to us. Many of the startups have received millions of dollars in undisclosed deal.
E-commerce industry ($2567 million) is on the second position followed by Technology industry ($ 839 million) based on funding amount received.
Investors are getting more attracted towards innovation and the overall funding for the last financial year was recorded to be a whopping amount of $8648 million.
