To make your advertisements a bit more interactive, Facebook has joined the category of Googleowned YouTube by bringing 360-degree video ads on Android and web. Let us tell you that few months earlier, Youtube has introduced the same feature and now it is time for Facebook to launch this feature.
Facebook on Wednesday announced that News Feed will now support 360-degree videos on the Web and Android. The feature will be available on iOS in the coming months.
Such videos are created using a special set of cameras that manage to capture all 360 degrees of a scene at the same time.
Facebook web users can drag a cursor and mobile users can tilt their devices in any direction to experience a 360-degree panorama view.
Facebook enlisted some prominent partners for its launch, including Star Wars, Discovery, GoPro, Vice, Saturday Night Live and basketball star LeBron James.
