Engagement rates for brands on most social networks are less than 0.1%, but Instagram blows them all away. The average Instagram engagement rate for brands is 58 times higher than on Facebook.

So, using it you can get your business a larger piece of the action and make the most of your efforts with these little-known Instagram hacks.

#1 Make Your Bio-Link Active

You get one clickable link in your Instagram account, but you can change it as many times as you delight. Use the link in your bio to promote your latest content or special promotions.

How to do it?

Create a post on Instagram with a call to action for people to click the link in your bio for more information.

Tip: This is perfect for running special promotions, preparing customers for a product launch or new feature to your site. And, you can split test different landing pages and offers to see which gives you the best results.

#2 Prioritize the Order of Your Filters

Whichever filter is your favorite, make it easy to find by changing the order in which the filters appear on your edit screen. You can even hide those ones you never use.

It actually saves you a ton of time and increases alliance efforts between team members.

Tip: Make sure your team only publishes with the correct filters by managing and editing them in the app.

#3 Receive Notifications from Competitor Account

Never want to miss an Instagram post from your competitor account again? You can choose to get a notification every time a specific user posts a new photo. All you have to do is turn on notifications for each user exclusively.

Sharing content from other accounts is a great way to build associations on social media. Pinterest has Repins and Instagram has regramming. However, Instagram doesn’t have a built-in feature to regram posts by other users.
