Twitter adds Three New Customer Service Features

Twitter has always remained one of the best social networks for users who want to open up in public. It has introduced three new customer service features to make the whole process hassle-free.

The current additions are Provide support, Add support hours and Welcome message. They have been introduced to help businesses in creating rich, responsive and complete service experiences which will direct the work of customer service teams. This will also open up new possibilities for those who want to engage people on Twitter.

In search and compose suggestions box, ‘Provide Support’ phrase will appear next to your username. Users can tap on it whenever they need guidance or customer care service. This option is very useful for brands which have multiple accounts such as one for marketing and another one for support.

With the new feature, brands can include add support hours on their account. Viewers can now know the best time to tweet or DM (Direct Message). The support hours and days can easily be added by tapping on the settings button. The time zone can also be selected form the drop down box so that users know when to contact you.

Whenever the users will DM on your account they will be greeted with a “Welcome message” from your profile. This latest update helps in serving the customers in the finest way.
